AM Photography, with a rich legacy dating back to the early 1990s, traces its roots to Andy’s Photography, founded by Everett “Andy” Andrews in the early 1970s. Andy’s Photography became a cornerstone of the Durango and surrounding communities, providing cherished portraits that captured many memorable moments over a span of 25 years.

After the successful sale of Andy’s Photography, Andy and his wife Mary transitioned to AM Photography in 1991, specializing in professional sports photography and capturing the dynamic participation of local athletes. From football and volleyball in the fall to track and baseball in the spring, AM Photography has been the go-to provider for team and individual portraits for numerous schools in the Four Corners area.

In 2008, the legacy continued when Andy sold AM Photography to Kipp and

Tammy Schreiner. They upheld the commitment to exceptional image quality and clarity that Andy had established, ensuring the studio's reputation for delivering professional sports photography that stands out. Kipp, Tammy, and their daughter Bailey embraced Andy’s dedication, focusing on capturing crisp, vivid images and the unique personality of each student-athlete. Bailey took over the business in 2023, continuing the tradition of excellence in professional sports photography and customer service.
